Osaka Evessa (B League) agreed terms with 31-year old American center Trent Plaisted (211-111kg-86, college: BYU) from Toyota Alvark. In 26 B League games in Japan he had 3.9ppg and 3.9rpg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in B League East Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Plaisted also played that season for Phoenix Hagen in German BBL where in 11 games he recorded 10.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.0bpg.
In 2008 Plaisted was drafted by Seattle Supersonics (NBA) in second round (46th overall). The former Brigham Young University standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Plaisted won French ProA championship title in 2015. He was also voted All-MWC 1st Team back in 2008 at his college time.
Plaisted is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Plaisted has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Croatia (KK_Zadar and Cedevita), Italy (Angelico Biella), Lithuania (Zalgiris and Neptunas), Turkey (Aliaga), Ukraine (Cherkasy), NBA (LA Clippers and Phi.76ers) and Germany (ratiopharm Ulm).
He could be described: A lefthanded big man who ruyns very well the court for his size. Plays with great energy and toughness, is a good rebounder at the both ends of the court and has great team mentality.
