Will
Creekmore
American Will Creekmore (205-C-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tokyo Z and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com B League D2 Player of the Week award for round 53.
The 27-year old center had a double-double of 25 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat Shinshu BW (#6, 12-41) 77-71. Tokyo Z maintains the 3rd position in their group in Japanese B League D2. Tokyo Z is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 23-30 record. Creekmore turned to be Tokyo Z's top player in his first season with the team. Missouri State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Creekmore is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.2rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 22-year old American center Ryan Stephan (208-C-94) of Tokyo Excel.. Stephan impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Tokyo Excel. was edged by the higher-ranked Nishinomiya S. (#1, 37-15) 80-77. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Central. Tokyo Excel. still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 20-31 record. Stephan is a newcomer at Tokyo Excel. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.6ppg (#6). He also registered 10.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Nigerian Solomon Alabi (216-C-88) of second-ranked Toyotsu FE. Alabi scored 27 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Toyotsu FE, leading his team to a 96-86 win against the lower-ranked Bambitious Nara (#5, 20-32). Toyotsu FE needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Central. Their record at this point is 37 victories and 15 lost games. Alabi has a great season in Japan. After 49 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.1ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 13.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 53.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Scootie Randall (198-F-90) of Cyberdyne IR - 27 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Daniel Dillon (193-G-86) of Hiroshima D. - 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Cedric Bozeman (198-G-83) of Fukushima - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Terrance Woodbury (201-G-87) of Bambitious Nara - 23 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Chehales Tapscott (195-F-90) of Kagawa FA - 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists
9. Lawrence Blackledge (206-F-86) of Ehime OV - 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Abdullahi Kuso (206-F-84) of Gunma - 16 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
