Scootie
Randall
26-year old forward Scootie Randall (198-F-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for Cyberdyne IR and receives a Asia-basket.com B League D2 Player of the Week award for round 51.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Fukushima (#2, 26-24) 82-73. Cyberdyne IR maintains the 4th position in their group in Japanese B League D2. Cyberdyne IR is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 24-26 record. In the team's last game Randall had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Cyberdyne IR, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Temple University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Randall is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.1ppg) and assists (8th best: 3.1apg).

Second best performed player last round was Kyle Barone (208-C-89) of Aomori Watts. He is American center in his first season at Aomori Watts. In the last game Barone recorded impressive double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Aomori Watts to edge slightly lower-ranked Iwate Big Bulls (#6, 13-37) by 2 points 91-89. Aomori Watts' 5th position in East has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 22-28 record. Barone is a newcomer at Aomori Watts and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#7). He also registered 10.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Chehales Tapscott (195-F-90) of Kagawa FA (#5). Tapscott got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . He was a key player of Kagawa FA, leading his team to a 94-78 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Kagoshima (#6, 7-43). The chances of Kagawa FA not to end season at such low position in West, however are less than slim as they have already lost 35 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tapscott could try to bring Kagawa FA's a little bit higher in the standings. Tapscott has individually a great season in Japan. After 49 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.1apg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Terrance Shannon (203-F-90) of Fukushima - 26 points and 10 rebounds
5. Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-F-91) of Kagoshima - 22 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Wayne Marshall (211-C-86) of Shimane SM - 23 points and 7 rebounds
7. Josh Davis (203-F-91) of Shimane SM - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Ohara Yoko (186-G-89) of Iwate Big Bulls - 19 points and 8 rebounds
9. Rodney Carney (201-F-84) of Toyotsu FE - 26 points and 9 rebounds
10. Will Creekmore (205-C-89) of Tokyo Z - 19 points and 15 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
