The round 18 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

B League D3 top team - Kanazawa Sam. (29-3) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Toyoda Gosei (5-27) in Aichi 67-54. They outrebounded Toyoda Gosei 43-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for guard Tsukino Tsukino (178-88) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds. American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American center Matthew Kendrick (215-90, college: St.Leo) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds for Toyoda Gosei. Toyoda Gosei's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kanazawa Sam. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 29-3 record. Toyoda Gosei lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 27 games lost. Kanazawa Sam. are looking forward to face Saitama Broncos (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Toyoda Gosei will have a break next round.

Aisin AW unfortunately lost to Otsuka A. in Tokyo 72-79. Fukuoka Rizing rolled over Tokyo Big Blue at home 102-75. Saitama Bron. was defeated by Tokyo HT on the opponent's court 81-68. Otsuka A. beat Aisin AW in a home game 67-60.
The most impressive performance of 18th round was 23 points and 13 rebounds by Alex Jones of Tokyo HT.

Tokyo HT - Saitama Bron. 78-71

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Tokyo HT (21-11) beat at home 7th ranked Saitama Broncos (12-20) 78-71. Tokyo HT made 26-of-33 charity shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Tokyo HT outrebounded Saitama Broncos 44-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Saitama Broncos were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
