There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Tochigi Brex (32-9) in Tokyo on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Toyota Alvark (31-10) 89-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great evening for American point guard Diante Garrett (196-88, college: Iowa St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. International power forward Joji Takeuchi (207-85) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota Alvark keeps a position of league leader, which they share with SeaHorses. Tochigi Brex at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost. Toyota Alvark is looking forward to face Osaka Evessa (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tochigi Brex will play against Niigata Albirex and is hoping to win this game.

B League top team - Toshiba Thunders (35-6) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Sendai 89ers (11-30) 76-64. It was a great evening for Nick Fazekas who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Toshiba Thunders have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 35-6 record. Loser Sendai 89ers keep the fifth position with 30 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face Kyoto Hannar. (#4) at home in the next round. Sendai 89ers will play against the league's leader Aishin Sea Horses in Kariya and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 43 Toshiba BT won against Sendai 89ers on the opponent's court 91-86.
