There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, derby games and favorites losing the games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Fukuoka Rizing (21-3) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Tokyo HT (14-10) 92-89. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Fukuoka Rizing. American power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pittsburg St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and point guard Yusuke Ikeda (180-88) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. At the losing side Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Fukuoka Rizing's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo HT maintains fourth place with 14-10 record. Fukuoka Rizing at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Tokyo HT will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fukuoka Rizing will play at home against Tokyo Cinq R. and is hoping to win this game.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Aichi: Aisin AW (#5) and Toyoda Gosei (#8). Toyoda Gosei was crushed at home by 28 points 47-75 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Guard Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) nailed 10 points and 8 assists for the winning side and Eve Nyokozera accounted for 6 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Eiji Sumihiro (171-89) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Toyoda Gosei in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aisin AW maintains fifth place with 12-12 record. Toyoda Gosei lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 18 games lost. Aisin AW will play against league's second-placed Kanazawa Sam. in Ishikawa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Saitama Bron. won against Tokyo Cinq R. on the opponent's court 80-71. Tokyo Cinq R. was outscored by Saitama Bron. in a home game 72-92. Tokyo HT was rolled over Fukuoka Rizing on the road 81-56.

Kanazawa Sam. - Otsuka A. 79-64

The game between Top Four teams took place in Ishikawa. Second ranked host Kanazawa Sam. (20-2) defeated 3rd placed Otsuka A. (14-8) 79-64. Kanazawa Sam. shot 24 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Otsuka A. only scored seven points from the stripe. 26 personal fouls committed by Otsuka A. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds.
