The previous (10-11) season Fey played at Kyoto Hannaryz. In 43 BJ League games that year he had 9.2ppg and 6.1rpg.
His college team won Pac-10 Tournament in 2006.
Fey is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in China, Jordan (Zain), Poland (Stal Ostrow), Qatar (Al Rayyan), United Arab Emirates (Al Shabab) and D-League (Los Angeles D-Fenders).
