Miyazaki Shining Suns ink Abdullahi Kuso - Dec 24, 2012

Miyazaki Shining Suns (BJ League) agreed terms with 28-year old Nigerian ex-international forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-111kg-84, college: Tallahassee CC). He played last season at KK Zadar in Croatian A1 league. In 14 games last year he had 5.2ppg and 5.6rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Kuso also played at Halifax_Rainmen in Canadian NBL Canada that season. In 25 games he recorded 6.5ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.0bpg.
He ended 2010-11 season at Fukuoka Rizing. In 22 BJ League games that year he recorded 10.7ppg and 8.5rpg. But the most of that year Kuso spent at Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa. In 26 BJ League games he recorded 8.7ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.0bpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as His team won WCC Regular Season for two years in a row (2007 and 2008). Kuso was also voted All-Panhandle Conference 1st Team back in 2006 at his college time. Kuso was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team back in 2007.
He is quite experienced player. Kuso has played also professionally in Korea (Mobis Phoebus), Syria (Al Jalaa), Ukraine (Sumykhimprom Sumy) and Nigeria (D.Warriors).
He attended Tallahassee CC until 2008 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.

25-year old power forward Davante Gardner (203-PF-91) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Niigata Albirex and receives a Player of the Week award for round 8. Nigeria Solomon Alabi (216-C-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Toyotsu FE and that's him to receive a B LeagueD 2 Player of the Week award for round 8. Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Pepsi LBL) is close to ink 30-year old American center Marcus Cousin (211-116kg-86, college: Houston) who played last time at Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano in Japan. In 12 B League D 2 games he recorded 12.9ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.8apg last season. Cousin has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
