Niigata Albirex (BJ League) released 26-year old American power forward Marquis Gray (206-113kg-86, college: Michigan State). In 17 BJ League games he played this season he had 7.4ppg and 4.6rpg.
The last season Gray played at Baskent Genclik in Turkish TB2L. In 35 games last year he was third best scorer with impressive 18.9ppg and averaged 9.7rpg (#5 in the league), 1.3apg and 1.3bpg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted All-Turkish TB2L Center of the Year.
The previous (2011) summer he played at Rayos de Hermosillo in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 55 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4bpg. He helped them to make it to the final. Quite impressive season as he was named to All-Mexican CIBACOPA 2nd Team. Gray also played at Lobos Grises in Mexican LNBP that season. In 8 games that year he recorded 10.9ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.0apg. The other team he played shortly was AZS Koszalin in Polish TBL. In two games he recorded 4.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0spg.
Grays team won Big Ten Regular Season in 2009.
He has played previously professionally in Poland and Turkey (Gelisim).
Gray attended Michigan State until 2009 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.

In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 21.6ppg, 9.2rpg, 3.4apg and 1.4bpg. Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa (B League) confirmed in their roster 33-year old American small forward Anthony McHenry (202-101kg-83, college: Georgia Tech). He has played there for the last eight seasons. In 57 B League games he had 10.6ppg, 9.1rpg, 3.8apg, 1.3spg and 1.5bpg last season.
