Shimane Magic adds Hatano to their roster - Dec 13, 2012

Shimane Susanoo Magic (BJ League) added to their roster 30-year old forward Kazuya Hatano (192-97kg-82). He just played at Oita H.Devils (BJ League). In 16 games this season he recorded 8.1ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1apg. The last season he played at Shiga L-Stars. In 46 BJ League games last year he averaged only 3.0ppg and 2.8rpg.
The previous (10-11) season Hatano played at Saitama Broncos. In 31 BJ League games that season he averaged 9.6ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as He played in the final of Japanese BJ League Western Division in 2009. Hatano was also voted Asia-Basket Japan All-Domestic Players Team back in 2006 and 2008. He represented Japan at the World University Games nine years ago.
Hatano has played previously for two other Japan teams: Senshu University and Osaka Evessa.

Broncos replace Tracy Williams with Takatoshi Ishibashi - Jun 3, 2013

The Saitama Broncos made a change on the bridge. They axed Tracy Williams and named Takatoshi Ishibashi the new head coach. Tracy Williams took over the Broncos at the start of the previous season. Saitama won just 15 games in 52 outings. Takatoshi Ishibashi guided the Shinshu Brave Warriors last season. He led the team to a 17-35 record and was fired after the result. Sendai 89ers hire Shuto Kawachi - May 30, 2013

The Sendai 89ers announced the name of their new head coach. Shuto Kawachi has signed a deal with the team. The 27-year-old specialist finished his players career in 2009. He worked as assistant coach with the Hamamatsu Phoenix for several seasons. He also worked with the Miyazaki Shining Suns.
