American Cyrus Tate (203-F/C-85) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Oita H.Devils and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com BJ League Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 27-year old power forward had a double-double of 26 points and nineteen rebounds, while his team beat Miyazaki SS (#10, 1-12) 77-72. Oita H.Devils is placed at 2nd position in Japanese BJ League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Oita H.Devils will need more victories to improve their 9-4 record. Tate turned to be Oita H.Devils' top player in his first season with the team. Cyrus Tate averages this season 17.2ppg and 8.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American forward Michael Parker (202-F-81) of Shimane SM. The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
