The 27-year old power forward had a double-double of 26 points and nineteen rebounds, while his team beat Miyazaki SS (#10, 1-12) 77-72. Oita H.Devils is placed at 2nd position in Japanese BJ League. Tate turned to be Oita H.Devils' top player in his first season with the team. Cyrus Tate averages this season 17.2ppg and 8.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American forward Michael Parker (202-F-81) of Shimane SM. This victory allowed Shimane SM to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Parker is well-known by Shimane SM fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#6). The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
