Dennis Carr joins Tokyo Cinq Reves, ex Taiwan Mobile - Nov 2, 2012

Tokyo Cinq Reves (BJ League) agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Dennis Carr (201-111kg-81, college: Embry Riddle). He played last season at Taiwan Mobile in Taiwanese SBL league. In 5 games last year he had 14.6ppg and 13.2rpg. Carr also played at Taiwan Beer in SBL that season. In three games he recorded 11.3ppg, 11.0rpg, 1.0spg and 1.3bpg. The other team he played shortly was Las Vegas in ABA.
Carrs team made it to the Austrian Bundesliga A Semifinals in 2011.
He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention in 2010.
Carr is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Australia, Mexico (Lechugueros), United Kingdom, Israel (Maccabi Rishon, Ironi Kiryat Ata, Hapoel Yokneam/Megido and Hapoel Afula), Austria (Furstenfeld Panthers) and ABA RE SH (Las Vegas Rattlers).
Carr attended Embry Riddle University until 2003 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.

Tokyo Excellence (B League D2) strengthened their roster with addition of American center Ryan Stephan (208-113kg). He just graduated from Colorado Mesa (NCAA2). In 27 games he recorded very impressive stats: 25.1ppg, 11.1rpg and 1.7apg last season. Stephan helped them to make it to the semifinals. Akita Northern Happinets (B League) tabbed 27-year old American forward Deshawn Stephens (203-102kg-89, college: San Diego State). It is actually his comeback to Akita Happinets as he has played here before. Stephens played most recently at Chalons-Reims in French ProA. He managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 19 ProA games he averaged 8.9ppg and 3.8rpg. Stephens also played that season for Banvit in BSL.
