JX Sunflowers take 2-0 Final lead to make one step away from the title. The winner of the Regular Season beat Toyota 77:60 in Game 2.
The game was mostly controlled by JX Sunflowers. Toyota A. managed to win second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JX Sunflowers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota A.'s 30.
The former international swingman Rika Tanaka (173-G/F-82) stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Lynn Kibayashi (184-C/F-89) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five JX Sunflowers players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Emi Kudeken (165-G-84) responded with 17 points and 5 assists and the former international forward Kazumi Suzuki (177-F-86) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nagoya. Top-ranked JX-Eneos S. faced 4th ranked Mitsubishi K.. Guests from Kashiwa (12-0) smashed host Mitsubishi K. (8-4) 85-50. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Former international Power forward Maki Takada (183-F/C-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Denso Iris, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. The 28-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds, while her team edged out Hitachi Cougars (#8, 4-8) 67-66. Denso Iris maintains the 3rd position in Japanese WJBL. The most exciting game of round 11 in the WJBL took place in Hitachinaka. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th ranked Hitachi Cougars (4-7) to fourth ranked Denso Iris (8-3) 67-66 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 16-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game.
