JX Sunflowers take 2-0 Final lead to make one step away from the title. The winner of the Regular Season beat Toyota 77:60 in Game 2.
The game was mostly controlled by JX Sunflowers. Toyota A. managed to win second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JX Sunflowers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota A.'s 30.
The former international swingman Rika Tanaka (173-G/F-82) stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Lynn Kibayashi (184-C/F-89) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five JX Sunflowers players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Emi Kudeken (165-G-84) responded with 17 points and 5 assists and the former international forward Kazumi Suzuki (177-F-86) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

SAKURA AKAHO Former international Center Sakura Akaho (182-C-96) put on an amazing game in the last round for Denso Iris, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 27. The 21-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 22 rebounds, while her team outclassed Haneda Vickies (#10, 7-21) with 26-point margin 81-55.
