Hamamatsu wins BJ League Finals beating Okinawa 82:68. They trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-68. Hamamatsu Phoenix dominated on the defensive end, holding Okinawa GK to just 6 points in second quarter. They made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Hamamatsu Phoenix forced 20 Okinawa GK turnovers and outrebounded them 52-37 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Okinawa GK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Top Notch Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Wayne Arnold (193-84, college: Tennessee St., agency: ACMT) contributed with 27 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Four Hamamatsu Phoenix players scored in double figures. American swingman Anthony McHenry (201-83, college: Georgia Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Naoto Kosuge (187-82) added 13 points in the effort for Okinawa GK. Okinawa GK's coach Dai Oketani rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Niigata Albirex was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and guard Shota Konno (184-85) chipped in 22 points. Osaka Evessa's coach Ryan Blackwell used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American center George Leach (210-81, college: Indiana) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Hirotaka Kondo (184-82) scored 11 points.
