Leader Al Kahraba delivered the tenth win on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Al Nasiriyah (1-11) 108-42 in Baghdad. Al Kahraba have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-1 record. Al Nasiriyah lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Al Kahraba's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al Nift.
Bottom-ranked Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya (0-12) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 63-58 loss to eighth ranked Al-Tadamoun (3-8) in Najef. Al-Tadamoun maintains eighth position with 3-8 record. Newly promoted Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Al-Tadamoun will play against higher ranked Al Shurtah (#3) in Baghdad in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya will play at home against Al Hilla (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 14 Al Mina was defeated by Al Nift in Baghdad 78-72. Al Karkh beat Al Hilla at home 99-90.

Al Nift - Al Mina 78-72

There was no surprise in Baghdad where 6th ranked Al Mina (5-6) was defeated by third ranked Al Nift (9-2) 78-72. Al Nift have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Shurtah. Al Mina at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Al Nift's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Baghdad Al Kahraba.

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Al Karkh (9-3) defeated at home 7th ranked Al Hilla (4-8) 99-90. Al Karkh have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-3 record. Al Hilla at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Al Karkh will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Hilla will play against Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
