Al Karkh (Superleague) signed 26-year old American forward Antwan Wilkerson (201-100kg-91, college: Johnson C. Smith). He just played at Al Noor in Saudi Arabian SBL league. A very impressive season as he was named to All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention. Wilkerson also played earlier that season for Al Ittihad (Premier League) in Bahrain.
His team was regular season runner-up in CIAA Southern Division in 2012.
Wilkerson has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Cyprus (Omonia) and Bolivia (Bolmar).
Wilkerson attended Johnson C. Smith University until 2014 and it is his third season as a professional player.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Fourth-ranked Al Karkh (11-7) was very close to win a game against third ranked Al Kahraba (15-2) in Baghdad on Sunday. Al Kahraba managed to secure only one-point victory 99-98. However their fans expected easier game. Al Kahraba have an impressive five-game winning streak. Quinton Doggett (ex Al Shurtah) signs at Al-Ittihad - 8 days ago
QUINTON DOGGETT Al-Ittihad (Premier League) landed 28-year old American forward Quinton Doggett (206-100kg-90, college: Southern). He played recently at Al Shurtah in Iraqi IBL league. Doggett also played for Al-Ahli earlier that season where in 10 IBL games he averaged impressive 18.3ppg, 12.7rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg this season. He was also selected League Player of the Week.
