Julian Scott
Residence Walferdange (Total League) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American power forward Julian Scott (203-107kg-90, college: Adams St.). It is actually his comeback to Bereldange as he has played here before. ScottAl Karkh in Iraqi Superleague. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries this year. Scott also played earlier that season for Residence where in only one Superleague game he recorded very impressive stats: 22 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists. The other team Scott played shortly was Gries/Oberhoffen in French NM1. In three Superleague games he averaged 7.3ppg and 6.7rpg. Scott also spent pre-season at Ehingen/Urspringschule (ProA) in German league earlier that year.
His team made it to the Summit League Tournament Semifinals in 2012.
Scott has played also professionally for other German teams like Quakenbrueck and USC Leipzig.
He attended Adams St. until 2014 and it is his third season as a professional player.

Superleague Round 5: Al Karkh keeps a leadership position - 15 days ago
The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Al Karkh as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Karkh smashed bottom-ranked Al Nasiriyah at home 131-71. Al Karkh have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Al Shurtah. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Baghdad: Al Kahraba (#3) and Al Nift (#5). Al Kahraba (3-0) won against visiting Al Nift (1-2) 82-76. Al Kahraba have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Karkh and Nift Al-Janoub.
