Kenny Brown
Al Shurtah Police (Superleague) agreed terms with 26-year old American guard Kenny Brown (188-91, college: Ferris State). He played last summer at Halcones in Panamanian LPB league. In 12 games he had 10.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.8apg. Brown helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Last season he played with Al Karkh and helped the team to win the championship !!
He also played for Sinsa-Tigres (ACB) in Nicaraguan league that season.
Brown's career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Brown has played previously professionally in Iraq (Al Hilla and Al Karkh), PBL (Lake Michigan) and El Salvador (Aguila).
He attended Ferris State until 2013 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.

Quinton Doggett (ex Al Shurtah) signs at Al-Ittihad - 5 days ago
QUINTON DOGGETT Al-Ittihad (Premier League) landed 28-year old American forward Quinton Doggett (206-100kg-90, college: Southern). He played recently at Al Shurtah in Iraqi IBL league. Doggett also played for Al-Ahli earlier that season where in 10 IBL games he averaged impressive 18.3ppg, 12.7rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg this season. He was also selected League Player of the Week. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Leader Al Nift delivered the fifteenth win on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Al Nasiriyah (1-17) 97-48 in Baghdad.
