Rashad Bell
Al Mina (Superleague) inked experienced 34-year old American (has also Hungarian passport) forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston). He played most recently at Guaiqueries in Venezuela LPB league. In two games he recorded 9.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg and 1.5bpg last season. Bell also spent pre-season at Al Jaysh (D1) in Qatari league that year. He helped them to make it to the Qatari Cup Semifinals. The other team Bell played shortly was Atletico Aguada in LUB where in three games he averaged 14.3ppg, 7.7rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7bpg. Another team he played briefly was Al Sharjah (D1) in UAE league. In three games he had 14.0ppg, 7.7rpg and 3.0apg, also he played with Saggesse Lebanese team and helped them to won Dubai International Championship trophy.
Among other achievements Bell won Iraqi League championship title in 2014. He received also Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Player of the Year award and Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Import Player of the Year award in 2014.
Bell is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Bell has played previously professionally in Colombia (Guerreros), Finland, France, Italy, Korea (ET Land Elephants), Philippines (Globalport), Sweden, Hungary (Kormend and Szolnok), Iraq (Duhok), Dominican Republic (La Cancha and Reales de La Vega) and United Arab Emirates (Al Jazeera).
He attended Boston until 2005 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.

Nift Al-Janoub (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American swingman Marcus Morrison (198-104kg-84, college: Middle Tennessee State). He played in the summer at Zonkeys de Tijuana in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 27 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 4.5apg and 1.4spg. Al-Naft win Perseverance Cup 2017 - 2 days ago
Al Kahrabaa - Al-Naft 63-92 Al-Naft won Perseverance Cup 2017 beating Al Kahrabaa 92-63. Al-Naft took a 23-12 lead after the first 10 minutes of the game but led only 4 at the halftime. Al-Naft managed to win the third frame 26-20 and then erupted in the last stanza. They sealed a comfortable victory due to a massive 32-13 surge.
