Rashad Bell
Al Mina (Superleague) inked experienced 34-year old American (has also Hungarian passport) forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston). He played most recently at Guaiqueries in Venezuela LPB league. In two games he recorded 9.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg and 1.5bpg last season. Bell also spent pre-season at Al Jaysh (D1) in Qatari league that year. He helped them to make it to the Qatari Cup Semifinals. The other team Bell played shortly was Atletico Aguada in LUB where in three games he averaged 14.3ppg, 7.7rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7bpg. Another team he played briefly was Al Sharjah (D1) in UAE league. In three games he had 14.0ppg, 7.7rpg and 3.0apg, also he played with Saggesse Lebanese team and helped them to won Dubai International Championship trophy.
Among other achievements Bell won Iraqi League championship title in 2014. He received also Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Player of the Year award and Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League Import Player of the Year award in 2014.
Bell is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Bell has played previously professionally in Colombia (Guerreros), Finland, France, Italy, Korea (ET Land Elephants), Philippines (Globalport), Sweden, Hungary (Kormend and Szolnok), Iraq (Duhok), Dominican Republic (La Cancha and Reales de La Vega) and United Arab Emirates (Al Jazeera).
He attended Boston until 2005 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.

Iran roll over Iraq at the West Asian U-18 Championship - 5 days ago
Iran rolled over Iraq 109-50 at the West Asian U-18 Championship in Jordan. Iran exploded with a 29-10 surge and led 40-27 at the halftime. Moreover they nailed 32 and 37 points respectively in the third and the last quarters for the final success. Arabzadeh stepped up with 24 points and Dalirzahan notched 23. Superleague Round 18: Top-ranked Al Nift wins another game - 23 days ago
Superleague top team - Al Nift (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya (1-14) in Baghdad 107-80. Al Nift have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-2 record. Newly promoted Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. Superleague Round 17: Al Nift defeats Al Karkh in the closest game of the week - 25 days ago
The most exciting game of round 17 in the Superleague took place in Al Karkh. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed Al Karkh (10-4) to first ranked Al Nift (12-2) 94-91 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Karkh. Al Nift have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-2 record.
