Melquan Bolding (190-G-88, college: Fair Dickinson) current player of Pioneros de Los Mochis (Mexico-CIBACOPA) gave an interview:

Why you decided to be a pro player.

The reason I decided to become a pro was, I've played all my life and all the hard work and dedication. It's a blessing to be able to get paid to play now.

There are many players without a job fighting for the same spots, how hard is to wait for your ideal offer and not take the first that comes up considering that the next one may not come soon.

Being patient is very hard, but it's your life and you have to be smart on what team you sign with.

Which was the best game you had in your career so far?

When I played for Qatar sports club vs Al Arabi I had 43pts 12rebs 6ast

Tell us your strong point and your weakness in your game.

My strong point is I can score very easy, I would say my weak point is my help defense.

Which player was the hardest opponent to play against?

I would say my hardest opponent was playing against my teammate during practice Justin Hawkins he's a big guard that can do is all.

Tell about the best teammates you had so far.

Hands down my best teammate I had thus far is chauncey leslie, he took me under his wing my rookie season and showed me how to be a pro and we became the best backcourt!

Which coach you want to thank because he made you better player.

I've had a lot of great coaches in my life, it's hard to just pick one.

Role player in a big team or star in a smaller one?

Role player I will do anything for my teammates to get the win but I will also be the one not scared to take the big shot!

Which is your favorite basketball shoe? Which one you wear now?

Favorite basketball sneaker is the Jordan 11s, I'm currently playing in the James harden sneakers.

What plans you have for the future?

My plans after basketball is to become a special Ed teacher, I love giving back and helping out people in need.
