The most exciting game of round 16 in the Superleague took place in Al Hilla. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Al-Tadamoun (3-10) to seventh ranked Al Hilla (6-8) 67-64 on Wednesday evening. Al Hilla moved-up to sixth place. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Kahraba (10-2) in Baghdad on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Al Nift (10-2) 78-77. Al Shurtah Police (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old ex-international forward Michael Shamon (192-84). last season he played in Iraq was withDuhokseason 2014-2015.
