There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague. Undefeated leader Al Shurtah delivered the seventh consecutive win on Tuesday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Al Suleikh (0-8) 98-68 in Baghdad. Undefeated Al Shurtah (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted Iraqi Airways (Superleague) tabbed American forward Muhammed Ahmed (203-100kg). He just graduated from Bridgeport (NCAA2). In 25 games he averaged 14.4ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1bpg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was selected to All-ECC 2nd Team. Defending champion Al Karkh (Superleague) tabbed 26-year old American power forward Julian Scott (203-107kg-90, college: Adams St.).
