Joseph Kennerly is a newcomer at Gigantes, ex Duhok - Dec 21, 2012

Gigantes Edomex (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American power forward Joseph Kennerly (204-107kg-84, college: Cent.Oklahoma). He just played at Duhok in Iraqi D1 league. Part of last season Kennerly spent at NoVa Hawks in APBL. He also spent pre-season at Erie Bay Hawks in D-League earlier that year.
Last year (five years after he left the college) Kennerly was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) in seventh round (13th overall).
He attended University of Central Oklahoma (NCAA Div.II) until 2006 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Kennerlys team made it to the EBA Semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as he was voted All-Balkan League Honorable Mention in 2010.
Kennerly is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata and Asociacion Italiana), Bulgaria (Spartak Pleven), Hungary (FS Debrecen), Jordan (Al Riyadi Amman), Lebanon (Antonins), Portugal (Illiabum) and Uruguay (Sayago).

Houssam Eddine Al Hariri International Tournament started today with Al Riyadi playing against Mina Iraq in Manara, Beirut. The yellow team was able to defeat the Iraqi in 97 points against 69 for Mina. Fadi Khatib (198-F/G-79) was the best scorer in this game, while Dewarick Spencer (192-G-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 18 points, Wael Arakji(194-PG-94) scored 15 and Amini 14. Newly promoted Atletico Echague Parana (LigaA) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Xavier Keeling (201-104kg-88, college: St.Catharine). He played last season at Al Nift in Iraqi Superleague. In 10 games he recorded very impressive stats: 22.4ppg, 13.2rpg and 9.5apg. Tre Johnson (ex Gmunden) agreed terms with Al Nift !! - 21 days ago

Al Nift Baghdad (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Tre Johnson (203-102kg-91, college: Hawaii-Hilo). He played most recently at Basket Swans Gmunden in Austria A Bundesliga. In 34 games he recorded 7.3ppg and 3.9rpg last season.
