Iraqi Wassim Abou El Zloulof (187-G-90) wins the title abroad as his Champville defeated Anibal Zahle 63-59 to collect the Lebanese Basketball League title for the first time in their brief history. Anibal's first trip to the finals ended in despair, as they lost 3-1 for the series. In 2011-2012 he started for Champville (Lebanon-Div.A) and after 10 games averaged 1.4ppg.   


Superleague Round 16: Al Hilla beats Al-Tadamoun by three after a very close game - 14 hours ago
The most exciting game of round 16 in the Superleague took place in Al Hilla. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Al-Tadamoun (3-10) to seventh ranked Al Hilla (6-8) 67-64 on Wednesday evening. Al Hilla moved-up to sixth place. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Kahraba (10-2) in Baghdad on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Al Nift (10-2) 78-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Kahraba. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Al Nift have an impressive series of nine victories in a row.
