The game between Top Four teams took place in Bandar Imam. First ranked host Petrochimi (5-1) defeated their biggest opponent Azad (3-3) 80-64. The game was mostly controlled by Petrochimi. Azad managed to win second period 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American swingman James White (201-82, college: Cincinnati, agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. Australian power forward Daniel Johnson (210-88, college: Pepperdine) helped adding 24 points. At the losing side American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) responded with 28 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place in Group 2 with 5-1 record, which they share with Naft Abadan. Azad at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Chemidor. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Saeed Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 assists. Mohammad Hassanzadeh accounted for 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international Hamed Sohrabnejad (205-83) came up with 9 points and 12 rebounds for Arak in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Naft Abadan maintains first place in Group 1 with 5-1 record, which they share with Petrochimi. Arak lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Kashan. Naft Abadan will play against league's second-placed Tabriz at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arak will have a break next round.

Chemidor - Gorgan 81-71

Rather expected game in Tehran where 5th ranked Shahrdari Gorgan (1-4) was defeated by third ranked Chemidor (3-3) 81-71. It looked good early as Shahrdari Gorgan took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Chemidor had a 23-16 second period charge getting the lead and Shahrdari Gorgan was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-81. Chemidor forced 22 Shahrdari Gorgan turnovers and had a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Daequan Cook (195-87, college: Ohio St.) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Amir Sedighi (203-93) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Chemidor players scored in double figures. The former international center Mohammad Shahsavand (210-77) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and center Mahdi Moradinasab (202-92) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Shahrdari Gorgan in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chemidor maintains third place in Group 1 with 3-3 record having just two points less than leader Petrochimi. Shahrdari Gorgan at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Naft Abadan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Naft Abadan forced 28 Arak turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage.
