Ndudi Ebi
32-year old forward Ndudi Ebi (206-F-84) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tabriz and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Arak (2-2) 67-58. Tabriz is placed at 3rd position in their group in Iranian league. Tabriz is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 4 games. In the team's last game Ebi had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Tabriz and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader.

Second best performed player last round was Arsalan Kazemi (200-SF-90) of Army. He is former international in his first season at Army. In the last game Kazemi recorded impressive double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Army lost that game 57-64 to the higher-ranked Naft Abadan (#1, 4-1). Army managed to keep the same 4th spot in Group 2. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Army managed to get this Second Stage. Kazemi is a newcomer at Army and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman James White (201-F/G-82, agency: Three Eye Sports) of league's leader Petrochimi. White scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Petrochimi, leading his team to a 92-68 easy win against #4 ranked Kashan in a game of the week. Petrochimi confirms their top position in Group 1. White has a very solid season. In 22 games in Iran he scored 14.1ppg. He also has 6.7rpg and FGP: 54.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Daniel Johnson (210-C/F-88) of Petrochimi - 21 points and 7 rebounds
5. Hamed Sohrabnejad (205-PF-83) of Arak - 15 points and 7 rebounds
6. K Riaie) of Chemidor - 10 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Dominique Jones (193-G-88) of Azad - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Sajjad Mashayekhi (180-PG-94) of Naft Abadan - 13 points and 8 rebounds
9. Meisam Mirzaei (210-C-92) of Naft Abadan - 9 points and 12 rebounds
10. Mohammad Yousofvand (207-C-96) of Azad - 17 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
