Mahram beat Foolad Mahan in the thriller for 10-2 record. The team jumped to the second place after a 78:75 win. Foolad Mahan took 27-16 advantage after the first 10 minutes, while the rest of the game belonged to the home side. Mahram won the second frame 15-13 and added 23-18 rally in the third quarter. Moreover the team needed a 24-16 surge to seal the victory. Marko Milic (201-F-77) top-scored for the winners with 27 points and 13 rebounds, while Mahdi Kamrani (186-PG-82) posted 25. Amir Sedighi (203-F-93) and Aslani Farid delivered 7 points each in a win. Chris Williams (199-F/G-80, college: Virginia) posted 20 points in the losing effort and Saman Veisi (189-G-82) brought 16. Kardoust Asghar notched 12 and Javad Davari (185-G-83) ended up with 11 points in defeat.
Petrochimi is on top with 11-1 record after a 94:72 win over Sanaye Petrochimi. Al Badr won over Zanjan 51:48 and Gorgan overcame Azad 93:85. Naft Sepahan won over Esteghlal 91:87.

Lebanon lost the opening game of WABA 2016 against Iran 75-81. Our national team players did their best while playing against the best team in West Asia. Iran basketball federation and National team head coach Dirk Bauermann started summer camp with 20 players. National team gonna participated in WABA championships which gonna be held in Jordan.
