With a new head coach and a couple new player additions Naft Sepahan Tehran looks like a contender.

With early struggles this season, both teams desperately needed this win. The game was a hard fought game from both sides hosting 14 lead changes. It came down to two factors for the Naft Sepahan Tehran win: points off the bench (34-14) and rebounding (47-36).

The games leaders were Yonas Lalehzadeh with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals for Sanaye Petrochimi and Ontario Lett of Naft with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
