New season of Iran Basketball Superleague is going to pass it's First day but it seems that we are going to have a normal season because some clubs can not pay too much to Big import players due to financial problems and it's related to country financial issues.

First week of Season 2012-2013 started by only 3 matches and two more matches will be on next Monday.
First game was between Sanaye Petrochimi Mahshahr and Al Badr Kong, Champion of 1st Division in 2011-2012. In this game , Sanaye Petrochimi players could beat their guests on 73-69.
In second game of Khoozestan Province, Shahrdari Gorgan Municipality was going to Mahshahr to play against Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour and they lost the game 80-68 to Petrochimi.
And third game was the Most important Game of the week and it was between Foolad Mahan Esfahan and Hamyari Shahrdari Zanjan . Hamyari Shahrdari Zanjan club have signed Coach Koohian and some key players of Zob Ahan and other clubs this season and is trying to be in top4 , but in first game of the season, they lost their important game to Foolad Mahan Esfahan in 57-54. Foolad Mahan Esfahan won 1st and 4th Quarters in 13-11 and 19-9 , but Hamyari Shahrdari Zanjan could beat Foolad in 2nd and 3th quarters in 24-17 and 10-8.

MIKE HARRIS Defending champion Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (LBL) landed experienced 34-year old American small forward Mike Harris (198-107kg-83, college: Rice). He played recently at Petrochimi in Iranian Superleague. Harris also played for Sturgeons in Chinese CBA earlier that season where in 38 Superleague games he averaged impressive 20.2ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg this season.
