Riyadi celebrated the fourth straight win at the Asia Club Championship. The Lebanese team overcame Mahram to remain undefeated at the end of preliminary round. Ahmad Ibrahim (202-G/F-92, college: Rice) came up with 29 points to pace the hosts. Mahram finished in the second spot at 3-1 record.
Riyadi limited Mahram to just 6 points in the opening frame to secure an 11-point advantage after ten minutes. Riyadi extended the lead in the second stanza. The Lebanese side arrived at halftime 37:21 halftime advantage. Riyadi poured in 28 points in the third stanza to keep the visitors at bay. Riyadi headed into the fourth quarter up by 18 points and never looked back en route to the win. Ahmad Ismail (205-F/C-76) netted 19 points, while Loren Woods (218-C-78, college: Arizona) had 12 points and 16 rebounds for Riyadi. Mahdi Kamrani (186-PG-82) answered with 21 points for Mahram. Mousa Nabipour (212-C/F-83) and Ratko Varda (215-C/F-79, agency: Beo Basket) had 10 points each in the loss.
