Mahram got to the winning start of their Asia Club Championship. The Iranian powerhouse fired past Falcon of Mongolia in the opener. Samad Nik Khahbahrami (199-F-83) came up with 21 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to lead the winners.
Mahram ensured a stunning start to the game. They erupted for 46 points in the first quarter to pile up a 29-point advantage. The Iranian team stayed in full control throughout the second quarter. They registered a 71:33 halftime advantage. Mahram did not slow down in the second half. Mahram fired 31 points in the third term building an unassailable 52-point advantage. They never looked back en route to the victory. Ratko Varda (215-C/F-79, agency: Beo Basket) had 17 points, while Hamed Afagh (190-SG-83) contributed 15 points for the winners. Nemekhbayar Battulga (G-81) answered with 18 points for Falcon. Bolortugla Purevjev chipped in 16 points in the loss.

Shahrdary Arak (Superleague) inked experienced 37-year old Bulgarian small forward Filip Videnov (196-97kg-80, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Alti Sport).
