Iran stormed past Indonesia in Day 5 of the 22nd Asia U18 Championship. Iran improved to 4-0 record in Group F after an easy 97:26 victory. Indonesia meanwhile fell at 1-3 record. Iran started with 29-9 and did not slow down even until the end of the game. They added massive 20-1 surge in the second frame and led 49:10 at the halftime. Indonesia managed to score 13 maximum 13 points in the third quarter, but got 21 from Iran. Moreover the latter added 27-3 in the last stanza to prove their ambitions for the top places. Saeid Bagheri (203-PF-94) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Mohammad Yazdanpanah (201-F-95) notched 16. Saleh Foroutannik (203-F/C-94) and Hossein Rahmati (204-C-93) followed them with 13 points apiece. Yerikho Tuasela (178-G-94) posted 9 in defeat and Andre Adrianno (175-G-94) brought 6.

Foolad Mahad and Petrochimi post two victories at the start of the 14th WABA Champions Cup. The Iranian teams are with 2-1 record after three games played.
In Day 1 Foolad Mahad overcame Champville 84:83.
