Gary Jacobs
American Gary Jacobs (188-PG-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for NSH GMC and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 24-year old playmaker had a double-double of 61 points and sixteen rebounds, while his team crushed Satya Wacana (#11, 1-14) with 24-point margin 109-85. NSH GMC is placed at 7th position in Indonesian IBL. NSH GMC is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-9 record. In the team's last game Jacobs had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at NSH GMC, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Central Washington University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jacobs is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.9ppg. Jacobs is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 5.5apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American point guard Jarron Crump (183-PG-92) of Satya Wacana. Crump impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 47 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Satya Wacana lost that game 85-109 to the higher-ranked NSH GMC (#7, 6-9). Satya Wacana are still at the very bottom. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Satya Wacana managed to get this year. Crump is a newcomer at Satya Wacana and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.3ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 4.7rpg and 3.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Tyreek Jewell (185-G-93) of top-ranked Satria Muda. Jewell showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Satria Muda, leading his team to a 68-62 win against the lower-ranked Garuda (#6, 7-7). Many experts and fans count Satria Muda as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 13 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Jewell has a very solid season. In 14 games in Indonesia he scored 13.6ppg. He also has 6.9rpg and 3.9apg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. JaJuan Smith (188-G-85) of Hang Tuah - 15 points, 22 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Kevin Loiselle (198-F-88) of Pacific Caesar - 18 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Firman Nugroho (201-C-90) of CLS Knights - 12 points and 7 rebounds
7. Ashton Smith (187-G-89) of CLS Knights - 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Mohammad Rizal (195-SF-93) of Satria Muda - 16 points and 2 rebounds
9. Mario Wuysang (176-PG-79) of CLS Knights - 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Martavious Irving (185-PG-90) of Pelita Jaya - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
