Tyrell
Corbin
American Point guard Tyrell Corbin (184-PG-92) had a great game in the last round for Bima Perkasa, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 50 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out CLS Knights (#2, 10-3) in overtime 85-82. Bima Perkasa maintains the 10th position in Indonesian IBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 12 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Corbin had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Bima Perkasa's top player in his first season with the team. Former Cal State - Bakersfield star has very solid stats this year. Corbin is in league's top in points (6th best: 24.9ppg) and averages impressive 2.9spg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Canadian Kevin Loiselle (198-F-88) of Pacific Caesar. Loiselle had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Pacific Caesar to edge slightly higher-ranked Aspac (#4, 10-5) 69-67. Pacific Caesar's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Loiselle is one of the most experienced players at Pacific Caesar and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.6ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 13.4rpg and 4.9apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Pacific Caesar's star - American guard David Seagers (188-G-88). Seagers showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Pacific Caesar, helping his team with a 69-67 win against slightly higher-ranked Aspac (#4, 10-5). Pacific Caesar needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Seagers has a great season in Indonesia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.3apg (best passer). He also has 2.5spg and FGP: 51.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Respati Pamungkas (180-SG-91) of Pelita Jaya - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Chris Brand (208-F-90) of JNE BSC - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
6. JaJuan Smith (188-G-85) of Hang Tuah - 19 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Ashton Smith (187-G-89) of CLS Knights - 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Tyreek Jewell (185-G-93) of Satria Muda - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Bima Risky Ardiansyah (174-SG-81) of CLS Knights - 20 points and 3 rebounds
10. Gjio Bain (211-C-85) of Bima Perkasa - 12 points and 15 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
