Bima Perkasa (2-12) outlasted CLS Knights (10-3) in overtime by three points 85-82 on Saturday night. It was a great evening for Tyrell Corbin who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bima Perkasa maintains tenth place with 2-12 record. Defending champion CLS Knights keep the second position with three games lost. Bima Perkasa will have a break next round. CLS Knights will play at home against Hang Tuah and hope to win that game.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 25 points and 6 rebounds by Respati Pamungkas of Pelita Jaya.

Satria Muda - JNE BSC 79-53

Very expected game in Jakarta where 9th ranked JNE BSC (4-10) was crushed by first ranked Satria Muda (12-1) 79-53 on Saturday. The game without a history. Satria Muda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Satria Muda outrebounded JNE BSC 44-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for guard Tyreek Jewell (185-93, college: St.Francis, NY) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Carlos Smith (206-90, college: Bowie St.) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side forward Chris Brand (208-90, college: Lincoln, PA) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and point guard Raheem Singleton (182-89, college: Maine) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. JNE BSC lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Satria Muda will face Garuda (#6) in Bandung in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.

Pelita Jaya - Hang Tuah 91-57

Rather predictable result in Jakarta where fourth ranked Pelita Jaya (10-4) smashed 7th ranked Hang Tuah (6-8) 91-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Pelita Jaya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Hang Tuah 50-31 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hang Tuah's players. It was a great evening for the former international Respati Pamungkas (180-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international Ponsianus Indrawan (191-85) helped adding 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side American guard JaJuan Smith (188-85, college: Tennessee) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import guard Falando Jones (193-90, college: Miss.Valley St.) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pelita Jaya have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Hang Tuah at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Pelita Jaya will face Pacific Caesar (#5) in Surabaya in the next round. Hang Tuah will play on the road against the league's second-placed CLS Knights in Surabaya and hope to win that game.

Bima Perkasa (2-12) outlasted CLS Knights (10-3) in overtime by three points 85-82 on Saturday night. CLS Knights were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Bima Perkasa, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-7. CLS Knights were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard Tyrell Corbin (184-92, college: CSU Bakersfield) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) helped adding 12 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side Canadian guard Ashton Smith (187-89, college: Indiana, PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Bima-Risky Ardiansyah (174-81) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bima Perkasa maintains tenth place with 2-12 record. Defending champion CLS Knights keep the second position with three games lost. Bima Perkasa will have a break next round. CLS Knights will play at home against Hang Tuah and hope to win that game.

Aspac - Pacific Caesar 67-69

There was a minor upset in Jakarta where 3rd placed Aspac (10-5) was edged by fifth ranked Pacific Caesar (9-5) 69-67 on Saturday. Aspac was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Pacific Caesar dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Aspac's 18. They outrebounded Aspac 50-37 including 37 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) helped adding 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Pacific Caesar's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American point guard Dom Williams (180, college: Cent.Washington) responded with 24 points and 6 assists and center Valentino Wuwungan (193-89) scored 4 points and 10 rebounds. They have a solid series of four victories in a row. Pacific Caesar maintains fifth place with 9-5 record. Aspac at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Pacific Caesar will face higher ranked Pelita Jaya (#3) in Jakarta in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

OSK R. Airlines (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American power forward Nate Barfield (206-104kg-88, college: Langston). He played in the summer at NSH GMC GSBC Jakarta in Indonesian IBL league. In 14 games he was third best scorer with impressive 26.4ppg and had 14.4rpg (leader !!!), 1.4apg and 1.8spg. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (PBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American forward Duke Crews (203-106kg-88, college: Bowie State). He moved there from CLS Knights in Indonesian IBL league where he played this season. In 6 games he recorded very impressive stats: 22.0ppg, 16.7rpg, 2.2apg, 1.8spg and 1.8bpg.
