Canadian Kevin Loiselle (198-F-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pacific Caesar and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and ten rebounds, while his team crushed Bima Perkasa (#10, 1-11) with 24-point margin 83-59. Pacific Caesar maintains the 5th position in Indonesian IBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pacific Caesar will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Loiselle had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pacific Caesar, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Loiselle has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 23.0ppg), rebounds (6th best: 13.3rpg), assists (6th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 1.3bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old American guard Falando Jones (193-G-90) of Hang Tuah. Jones impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Hang Tuah lost that game 74-79 to the higher-ranked Aspac (#4, 9-4). This loss caused Hang Tuah to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Jones is one of the most experienced players at Hang Tuah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.8ppg (#1). He also registered 6.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Pacific Caesar's star - American David Seagers (188-G-88). Seagers showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Pacific Caesar, helping his team with a 83-59 easy win against the lower-ranked Bima Perkasa (#10, 1-11). Pacific Caesar needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Seagers has a great season in Indonesia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.9ppg (9th best) and assists with 5.9apg (2nd best). He also has 2.4spg and FGP: 50.8%.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Satria Muda - CLS Knights 74-69 Satria Muda overcame CLS Knights in the decisive third game of the semifinal series and sealed IBL Finals appearance. CLS Knights trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-74 at the end of the game. Pacific Caesar - Aspac 77-108 Aspac coasted past Pacific Caesar to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Aspac. Pacific Caesar managed to win fourth quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aspac dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pacific Caesar's 34. Review of IBL Round 1 of Quarter-Finals - 22 days ago
Aspac - Pacific Caesar 96-73 Aspac coastd past Pacific Caesar to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Pacific Caesar took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aspac had a 39-24 second period charge getting the lead and Pacific Caesar was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-96.
