The Regular Season in IBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of CLS Knights (10-2) in Surabaya on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Satria Muda (10-1) 78-61. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of CLS Knights. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Satria Muda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Satria Muda forced 22 CLS Knights turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Tyreek Jewell (185-93, college: St.Francis, NY) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Arki Wisnu (187-88) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. American forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Satria Muda keeps a position of league leader. Defending champion CLS Knights dropped to the second place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in Pandang was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Aspac (9-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Hang Tuah (6-7). Aspac managed to secure a 5-point victory 79-74. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Pierre Henderson-Niles (203-87, college: Memphis) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. Dom Williams contributed with 23 points for the winners. Guard Falando Jones (193-90, college: Miss.Valley St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds for Hang Tuah. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Aspac moved-up to third place, which they share with Pelita Jaya. Hang Tuah at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Aspac will play against Bima Perkasa (#10) in Sakti in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hang Tuah will have a break next round.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Bandung. Local JNE BSC (4-8) was outscored by third ranked Pelita Jaya (9-4) 77-52 on Sunday night. Kore White stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Raheem Singleton responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Pelita Jaya have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 9-4 record behind leader Satria Muda, which they share with Aspac. Loser JNE BSC keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Pelita Jaya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. JNE BSC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bandung Garuda.

In the last game of round 17 Pacific Caesar crushed Bima Perkasa in Surabaya 83-59.
