Kore White
American-Jamaican Forward Kore White (205-F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for Pelita Jaya, receiving a Court Side Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Satya Wacana (#11, 0-8) with 28-point margin 84-56. Pelita Jaya maintains the 6th position in Indonesian IBL. Pelita Jaya is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. White just recently signed at Pelita Jaya, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of South Florida star has very solid stats this year. White is in league's top in points (4th best: 24.3ppg), rebounds (5th best: 13.6rpg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 2.1spg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Pelita Jaya's star - young American Winston Grays (188-G-96, agency: SDJ Sports). Grays had a very good evening with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with White he helped Pelita Jaya with another comfortable win outscoring Satya Wacana (#11, 0-8) 84-56. Pelita Jaya's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Grays is a newcomer at Pelita Jaya, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Nate Maxey (211-C-92) of Satya Wacana (#11). Maxey scored 11 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Maxey's great performance Satya Wacana lost 56-84 to the higher-ranked Pelita Jaya (#6, 4-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Satya Wacana can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 8 games. Too bad for Maxey he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Maxey has individually a great season in Indonesia. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.5rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Gary Jacobs (188-PG-92) of NSH GMC - 28 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Gian Gumilar (179-PG-86) of JNE BSC - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Dechriston McKinney (203-F-92) of CLS Knights - 12 points and 15 rebounds
7. Abraham Damar Grahita (201-SF-95) of Aspac - 20 points and 5 rebounds
8. Jamarr Johnson (193-F-88) of CLS Knights - 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Vinton Surawi (185-PF-82) of JNE BSC - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jarron Crump (183-PG-92) of Satya Wacana - 16 points and 4 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Court Side. Court Side is the global leader in basketball management, and is widely regarded as the most dynamic and innovative company of its kind. It was the first Basketball Agency to launch its own website, and the first to have its own database. Court Side has more agents and manpower within its organization, than any other competitor, and its international network of basketball contacts is still unparalleled.

Aspac - Pacific Caesar 96-73 Aspac coastd past Pacific Caesar to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Pacific Caesar took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aspac had a 39-24 second period charge getting the lead and Pacific Caesar was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-96.
