The game between Top Four teams took place in Surabaya. 4th ranked host Pacific Caesar (3-3) lost to second ranked Aspac (4-1) 80-76. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pacific Caesar won third quarter 26-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Aspac won last quarter 15-12. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Pierre Henderson-Niles (203-87, college: Memphis) scored 9 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Anthony Hangrove (200-89) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aspac have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with CLS Knights. Pacific Caesar at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Aspac will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pacific Caesar will play on the road against Satya Wacana (#11) in Salatiga and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
JNE BSC has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Jakarta, where they defeated NSH GMC (2-3) 74-69. American forward Chris Brand (208-90, college: Lincoln, PA) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 blocks to lead the effort and Ferdinand Damanik supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds by American power forward Nate Barfield (206-88, college: Langston) did not help to save the game for NSH GMC. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. JNE BSC (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Pelita Jaya and Bima Perkasa. NSH GMC at the other side keeps the seventh position with three games lost. JNE BSC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bandung Garuda.

Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was Andre Smith who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jarron Crump who recorded 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hang Tuah have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Satya Wacana still closes the standings with four games lost. Hang Tuah will meet at home Pelita Jaya (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Satya Wacana will play against Pacific Caesar and hopes to get finally their first victory.

CLS Knights - Bima Perkasa 74-47

Third ranked CLS Knights (4-1) crushed at home 8th ranked Bima Perkasa (1-3) by 27 points 74-47, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by CLS Knights. Bima Perkasa was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CLS Knights held Bima Perkasa to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Bima Perkasa 54-31 including a 43-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. CLS Knights players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. The former international center Firman Nugroho (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four CLS Knights players scored in double figures. American point guard Tyrell Corbin (184-92, college: CSU Bakersfield) replied with 23 points and Alan Asadi (185-90) added 10 points in the effort for Bima Perkasa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JNE BSC has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Jakarta, where they defeated NSH GMC (2-3) 74-69. NSH GMC was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 31-19 charge of JNE BSC, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. JNE BSC brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American forward Chris Brand (208-90, college: Lincoln, PA) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 blocks to lead the effort and the former international center Ferdinand Damanik (196-88) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. The 24-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Siliwangi (#5, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 75-63.
