There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in IBL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hang Tuah (0-1) in Pandang on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Pacific Caesar (2-0) 91-81. The game was mostly controlled by Pacific Caesar. Hang Tuah managed to win third quarter 29-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) chipped in 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Pacific Caesar's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Andre Smith (208, college: William Jessup) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 22 rebounds. Pacific Caesar is looking forward to face Pelita Jaya (#10) in Jakarta in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hang Tuah will play on the road against Garuda in Bandung and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Very important is a home loss of Aspac (1-1) against NSH GMC (1-1) on Saturday night. Host Aspac was defeated by NSH GMC in Jakarta 79-67. American point guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Nate Barfield supported him with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by the former international Pringgo Regowo (190-87) did not help to save the game for Aspac. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
CLS Knights (2-0) played at the court of Pelita Jaya (0-1). CLS Knights managed to secure a 4-point victory 66-62 on Saturday. CLS Knights will meet at home Satria Muda (#4) in the next round. Pelita Jaya will play against Pacific Caesar in Surabaya and hope to win that game.
Satria Muda (1-0) crushed at home Satya Wacana (0-2) by 19 points 85-66, which is the biggest margin this round. Americans were the main players on the court. Tyreek Jewell orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda's next round opponent will be CLS Knights in Surabaya and it will be for sure the game of the week.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 10 points and 9 rebounds by Carlos Smith of Satria Muda.


Satria Muda - Satya Wacana 85-66

Satria Muda (1-0) crushed at home Satya Wacana (0-2) by 19 points 85-66, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Satria Muda. Satya Wacana was better in fourth quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Satria Muda forced 20 Satya Wacana turnovers and outrebounded them 57-33 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Satria Muda brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Tyreek Jewell (185-93, college: St.Francis, NY) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Carlos Smith (206-90, college: Bowie St.) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Satria Muda players scored in double figures. Point guard Jarron Crump (183-92, college: Pacific Union) replied with 29 points and center Nate Maxey (211-92, college: N.C.Central) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Satya Wacana. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Satria Muda's next round opponent will be CLS Knights in Surabaya and it will be for sure the game of the week.

Aspac was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 21-8 charge of NSH GMC, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Aspac 53-40 including 16 on the offensive glass. Aspac was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Gary Jacobs (188-92, college: Cent.Washington) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Nate Barfield (206-88, college: Langston) supported him with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by the former international Pringgo Regowo (190-87) did not help to save the game for Aspac. CLS Knights (2-0) played at the court of Pelita Jaya (0-1). CLS Knights managed to secure a 4-point victory 66-62 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pelita Jaya won third quarter 20-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when CLS Knights won last quarter 19-17. CLS Knights will meet at home Satria Muda (#4) in the next round. Pelita Jaya will play against Pacific Caesar in Surabaya and hope to win that game.

Aspac - Pacific Caesar 96-73 Aspac coastd past Pacific Caesar to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Pacific Caesar took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter.
