The Regular Season in IBL just started.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of NSH GMC (0-1) on Friday night. They were rolled over by Pacific Caesar (1-0) 96-75. The game was mostly controlled by Pacific Caesar. NSH GMC managed to win third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pacific Caesar forced 22 NSH GMC turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard David Seagers (188-88, college: Dowling) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 5 rebounds. Canadian forward Kevin Loiselle (198-88) contributed with 17 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Nate Barfield (206-88, college: Langston) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds for NSH GMC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacific Caesar is looking forward to face Hang Tuah (#5) in Pandang in the next round. NSH GMC will play on the road against Aspac (#1) in Jakarta and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game for Garuda (1-0) which played against Bima Perkasa (0-1). Garuda crushed hosts 85-53. Sigit Harun Nurman (187-88) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Sherrard Brantley chipped in 20 points. At the losing side American forward Jamine Peterson (201-88, college: Providence) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game between Satya Wacana (0-1) and Aspac (1-0) on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Jakarta outscored Satya Wacana 84-46. Abraham Damar Grahita nailed 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Nate Maxey came up with 5 points and 10 rebounds for Satya Wacana in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aspac's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta NSH GMC.

In the last game of round 1 winless JNE BSC lost to undefeated CLS Knights on the road 57-83.
The most impressive performance of 1st round was 20 points and 6 rebounds by Jamarr Johnson of CLS Knights.
