Chris Daniels (200-PF-82, agency: Limelight Hoops, college: Georgia) scored 23 points and pulled down 13 boards to pace the Indonesia Warriors to a road win over KL Dragons tonight. The victory propelled the Warriors at 2-2 record in the ASEAN League ladder. They caught up with the Dragons in the standings.
KL Dragons got to a slightly better start. They secured a 22:17 lead after ten minutes of action. The Malaysian team extended the lead in the second term. The Dragons posted a 45:36 halftime advantage. The Warriors however turned the tables in the third term. They exploded with 30 points in the period to surge ahead. The visiting side accumulated a 66:58 lead heading into the final term. The hosts answered with just 14 points in the fourth quarter and could not avoid the loss at the end. Steve Thomas (204-C/F-81, college: Middle Tenn.St.) delivered 12 points and 12 boards, while John Smith (188-G-86, college: Hawaii-Hilo) netted 10 points for the Warriors. Gavin Edwards (206-F/C-88, college: Connecticut) finished with 20 points and 11 boards for the Dragons. Shee Fai Loh (192-G/F-89) chipped in 14 points in the loss.
