Former international forward Andi Poedjakesuma (187-F-80) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Pelita Jaya, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (11 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Bimasakti (#9, 3-8) with 20-point margin 72-52. Pelita Jaya maintains the 2nd position in Indonesian NBL. Pelita Jaya has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team's last game Poedjakesuma had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Pelita Jaya, through which he has constantly improved. Andi Poedjakesuma averages this season 10.2ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Adhi Prasetyo (194-C-93) of Hangtuah. Prasetyo had a very good evening with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Hangtuah lost that game 45-54 to slightly higher-ranked Garuda (#4, 8-3). Hangtuah managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Prasetyo is well-known at Hangtuah and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Arki Wisnu (187-G-88) of Satria Muda (#3). Wisnu scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Satria Muda, leading his team to a 68-65 win against #1 ranked Dell Aspac in a game of the week. Satria Muda needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 3 lost games. Wisnu has a very solid season. In 2 games in Indonesia he scored 17.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Rony Gunawan (194-F/C-80) of Satria Muda - 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Fidyan Dini (195-C-83) of Pelita Jaya - 11 points and 3 rebounds
6. Restu Dwi Purnomo (193-SF-93) of Bimasakti - 13 points and 2 rebounds
7. Vinton Nolland (194-PF-82) of Garuda - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Isman Thoyib (202-C-84) of Dell Aspac - 4 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Yudhi Mardiyansyah (193-F-83) of Pelita Jaya - 6 points and 4 rebounds
10. Pringgo Regowo (190-F-87) of Dell Aspac - 11 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
