Saigon Heat - Indonesia Warriors 77:72

Saigon Heat registered the second victory in the ASEAN League season. The Vietnamese outfit held off the visiting Indonesia Warriors. Dior Lowhorn (201-F-87, college: USF) finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds for the home team. The Warriors slipped at 0-2 record after the defeat.
The Warriors jumped to an early lead. The visitors ensured an 18:15 lead after ten minutes. However the Heat gradually took over. The hosts ignited a 22:11 run in the second term to post a 37:29 halftime advantage. The Heat stayed on fire throughout the third term. They poured in 27 points to enjoy a 10-point lead at the final intermission. The Warriors revived the intrigue in the fourth period. Steven Thomas put the visitors within one 72:73 with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. But Dehesa went perfect from the stripe and Phillip Aaron Morrison followed with a jumper to seal the victory for the Heat. Phillip Aaron Morrison had 15 points, while Jai Reyes (173-G) added 14 points and 9 assists in the win. Mario Wuysang (176-PG-79) answered with 23 points for the Warriors. John Smith (188-G-86, college: Hawaii-Hilo) chipped in 15 points in the loss.
