Herman
Center H Herman (193-C-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for CLS Knights, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (14 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Bimasakti (#9, 2-7) 72-64. CLS Knights maintains the 3rd position in Indonesian NBL. They are still close to the very top. CLS Knights would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. It's Herman's second year at CLS Knights and it's hard to imagine this team without him. H Herman averages this season 5.6ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Galank Gunawan (194-PF-87) of Satria Muda. Gunawan had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he lead Satria Muda to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Tonga BSC (#12, 1-9) 66-35. Satria Muda's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Gunawan is one of the most experienced players at Satria Muda and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Bima Rizky Ardiansyah (182-PF-90) of Bimasakti (#9). Rizky Ardiansyah scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds. Despite Rizky Ardiansyah's great performance Bimasakti lost 64-72 to the higher-ranked CLS Knights (#3, 8-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Bimasakti can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Rizky Ardiansyah he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Rizky Ardiansyah has a very solid season. In 9 games in Indonesia he scored 13.6ppg. He also has 6.3rpg and FGP: 55.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Tri Wilopo (180-G/F-86) of Hangtuah - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Rony Gunawan (194-F/C-80) of Satria Muda - 9 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Ahmad Junaidi (188-F-90) of Hangtuah - 12 points and 4 rebounds
7. Kevin Argadiba (195-C-94) of Satria Muda - 6 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
8. H Hardianus (175-PG-92) of Hangtuah - 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Ponsianus Indrawan (191-C-85) of Pelita Jaya - 14 points and 6 rebounds
10. Mei Joni (188-G-89) of Hangtuah - 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Aspac - Pacific Caesar 96-73 Aspac coastd past Pacific Caesar to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Pacific Caesar took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aspac had a 39-24 second period charge getting the lead and Pacific Caesar was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-96.
