NBL top team - Dell Aspac (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Bimasakti (2-6) in Sakti 69-53. The game was mostly controlled by Dell Aspac. Bimasakti managed to win second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bimasakti to just 7 points in first quarter. Dell Aspac looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Pringgo Regowo (190-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Andakara Prastawa Dhyaksa (177-92) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Yanuar Dwi Priasmoro (178-89) replied with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Bimasakti. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Dell Aspac have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Bimasakti lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with six games lost. Dell Aspac will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bimasakti will play on the road against CLS Knights (#3) in Surabaya and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
The game in Jakarta was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Hangtuah (4-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Satria Muda (5-3). Satria Muda defeated Hangtuah 60-49. The former international power forward Rony Gunawan (194-80) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Arki Wisnu chipped in 13 points during the contest. Guard Agustinus Sigar (180-79) responded with 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Satria Muda have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Hangtuah at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Satria Muda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena Tonga BSC.
The game in Surabaya supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Garuda (6-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Pacific Caesar (3-6). Garuda smashed Pacific Caesar 67-26 on Wednesday. Vinton Nolland notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds by Airlangga Sabara did not help to save the game for Pacific Caesar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Garuda have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Pacific Caesar keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 14 NSH GMC Riau was smashed by Pelita Jaya on the road 73-38.

Satria Muda - Hangtuah 60-49

The game in Jakarta was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Hangtuah (4-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Satria Muda (5-3). Satria Muda defeated Hangtuah 60-49. The game was mostly controlled by Satria Muda. Hangtuah was better in fourth quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hangtuah 41-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Rony Gunawan (194-80) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Arki Wisnu (187-88) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Guard Agustinus Sigar (180-79) responded with 12 points and guard Mei Joni (188-89) scored 11 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Satria Muda have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Hangtuah at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Pelita Jaya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NSH GMC Riau to just 7 points in second quarter. Pelita Jaya dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to NSH GMC Riau's 24. Pelita Jaya forced 19 NSH GMC Riau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Daniel Wenas (188-92) notched 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international forward Dimas Aryo Dewanto (180-86) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
