India roll over Indonesia at the Classification games for 9-12 places. India won 67:53 and will play for the 9th place against Syria. The play-offs are scheduled for Saturday. Both teams wanted to play for the higher place and showed great game and effort. Indonesia started with 16-14, but India replied with 18-8 in the second frame. Moreover India added 14-13 in the third period for 46:37 at the end of three quarters. Palpreet Singh Brar (204-C-94) increased the lead to 16 points and he also closed the game from the free throw line for 14-point victory. Palpreet Singh Brar paced all the winners with 24 points and Amit Kanarjee (187-PG-94) added 12. Shyam Sunder (179-PG-94) delivered 9, while Rakesh Singh (198-PF-95) had 8 points and 14 rebounds. Kristianto Halim (201-C-94) finished the game with 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Andre Adrianno (175-G-94) had 10.

The Thailand Slammers will be the last (fourth) participant of the playoffs. Chris Daniels (200-PF-82, college: Georgia) stepped up with 15 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Warriors to the victory today. The hosts jumped to a 13:6 lead midway through the first quarter. The Warriors though capped the opening period on a 9:2 rally to gain 15:13 lead. The visitors maintained the advantage throughout the second period. The Warriors arrived at halftime up by 7 points 33:26. The Slingers sparked intrigue late in the period cutting the deficit at 3-point mark. But the Warriors quickly responded and entered the fourth frame up by 8 points. They never looked back in the fourth term and sealed the win at the end.
