Indonesia Warriors completed the ASEAN League regular season on a high note. They defeated Singapore Slingers on the road to improve at 12-9 record in the third position in the ladder. The Slingers fell at 9-12 record outside playoff zone.
The hosts opened the game strongly. They stayed ahead throughout the first half. The Slingers piled up a 48:45 halftime lead. The Warriors however took over after the big break. They cut the deficit and eventually surged ahead for a 2-point advantage. The visitors knocked down 25 points in the fourth stanza to celebrate the victory. Evan Brock (204-F-84, college: Alabama) came up with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors. Stanley Pringle (184-PG-87, college: Penn St.) added 21 points in the victory. Graham Louis (205-F/C-84) answered with 34 points for the Slingers. Jeffers Kyle (207-C-85, college: Oregon St.) posted 17 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

JNE BSC Bandung Utama (IBL) landed 28-year old American point guard Raheem Singleton (182-84kg-89, college: Maine). He played most recently at Rochester RazorSharks (PBL) in the U.S. Singleton also played that season for The Storm in Canadian NBL Canada where in two games he averaged 7.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg last season. The most exciting game of round 9 in the IBL took place in Jakarta. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Pelita Jaya (3-4) to eighth ranked NSH GMC (3-4) 74-72 in the game for the sixth place.
