The Regular Season in UBA League just ended.

Round 12 most important game was a victory of Pune P. over second-best Hydrabad S. 106-102 on Tuesday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Hydrabad S. was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 29-24 charge of Pune P., which allowed them to win the game. They made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Pierre Newton (196-93, college: Minn.-Duluth) who led his team to a victory with 41 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Narender Grewal contributed with 29 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. American Tevin Kelly replied with a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists for Hydrabad S.Pune P. maintains first position with 4-2 record, which they share with Delhi C. Hydrabad S. at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Bengaluru.
An interesting game for Bengaluru (3-3) which hosted in Kondhwa one of their biggest challengers Chennai S. (2-4). Third ranked Bengaluru managed to get a 14-point victory 100-86. The best for the losing side was Agu Chukwunanu with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. Chennai S.'s coach Prasanna Jayshankar rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bengaluru have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Hydrabad S. Defending champion Chennai S. dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Punjab S..

Bengaluru - Chennai S. 100-86

An interesting game for Bengaluru (3-3) which hosted in Kondhwa one of their biggest challengers Chennai S. (2-4). Third ranked Bengaluru managed to get a 14-point victory 100-86. The game was mostly controlled by Bengaluru. Chennai S. was better in fourth quarter 32-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bengaluru players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Palpreet Brar who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and international guard Vishesh Bhriguvanshi (192-91) who added 24 points, 5 rebounds and 16 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Agu Chukwunanu with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists and Jairam Jat scored 19 points. Five Bengaluru and four Chennai S. players scored in double figures. Chennai S.'s coach Prasanna Jayshankar rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
