MAFC Budapest (A Division) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Canadian-Indian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87). It is actually his comeback to Budapest as he has played here before. Sihota played most recently at Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in German BBL league. In 12 games he recorded 7.8ppg and 3.4rpg last season. Sihota also played that season for MAFC Budapest where in 19 A Division games he was third best scorer with impressive 18.5ppg and had 9.3rpg (#4 in the league), 1.5apg and 1.3spg.
Among other achievements Sihota's team was regular season runner-up in IBL International Division in 2012. He received also USBasket.com All-IBL Sixth Man of the Year award back in 2012.
Sihota is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Holland (M.Magixx and Rotterdam), Luxembourg (Heffingen), Switzerland (Fribourg), Canada (Dinos and Crush) and IBL (Edmonton E.).

Sydney Kings (NBL) signed 26-year old Indian international power forward Amritpal Singh (212-91). He played this summer at Pune Peshwas in Indian UBA League. In 7 games he had very impressive stats: 30.4ppg, 13.3rpg (leader !!!), 2.1apg and 2.1bpg. Singh helped them to make it to the semifinals. Siya Deodhar of Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) has been named in the probable list of India players for the 5th Fiba Asia U-16 Basketball Championship for women slated to be played at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
