Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions (D1) agreed terms with 28-year old American power forward Patrick Sullivan (206-88, college: SE Louisiana, agency: HMS). He played most recently at Gunma Crane Thunders in Japanese B League D2, but left the team in Dec.'15. In 24 games he had 13.6ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5spg last season.
The previous (14-15) season Sullivan played at Niigata Albirex (BJ League) in Japan where in 55 games he recorded 13.2ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Sullivan's team made it to the D-League Semifinals in 2013. He was also voted Gatorade All-D-League Honorable Mention back in 2011.
Sullivan's career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. Sullivan has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Holon), NBA (Houston Rockets) and D-League (Austin Spurs and Rio Grande Valley Vipers).
He attended Southeastern Louisiana University until 2010 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
